This semester I thought the TED talks in my class were extremely well done! I enjoyed not having the slides because it made me learn more about my topic and I became a lot more familiar with international adoption. I thought the TED talks were more engaging without the slides because I paid very close attention to the speaker rather than to their slides.
I really enjoyed Kaliopi’s TED talk because she went up there and spoke to the class about something she feels passionate about. It reminded me of a quote from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” I was so impressed with everyone’s TED talks in our class.
